Discovering the lack of books to help teach my grandchildren the game of T-Ball, I started the Getting Started Sports Books® series,
designed specifically to help parents and coaches teach sports
fundamentals and sportsmanship to young children. This exciting series is composed of How-To coloring books, which entertain, involve and teach children and parents about various team sports.
My name is Edward Palmer and prior to writing and publishing the Getting Started Sports Books series I spent twenty-nine years in
marketing with a Fortune 100 company. My background includes
extensive managerial, marketing, investor relations and Internet
experience. Consistently throughout my career I have been responsible
for internal and external communications and publications, strategic
planning, contract negotiations, and media relations. I have been interviewed by radio and TV business talk shows, newspapers, and magazines and appeared regularly on the FlighTalk Business Network carried by all major airlines.
To develop, market and distribute innovative products, like the
Getting Started Sports Books, I founded NuWay Youth Sports. In developing the Getting Started Sports Books I worked for several years not only with experts in the field of youth sports and child psychology but also consulted with educators and illustrators. The result is the creation of a series of books that meet national youth sports associations' approval and receive their endorsement. This new format includes a book for each sport that provides pictures (for coloring) and captions that outline and teach the basic rules of the game, the equipment involved, and player positions. It is a great feeling to see children using these books understand the basic plays, develop
self-confidence and get excited to start playing. These books have helped tens of thousands of children get started in youth
sports and they can help your child understand the fundamentals and feel
confident before they start playing.
NuWay Youth Sports plans to continually develop new products and enhance
existing products. New products planned include books for other youth sports.
The input of my customer is extremely important in the decision process for
improving this web site, current products and developing new products. Please provide your input by utilizing the following contact information. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.
